3 Ingredient Bagels

Makes 2 Bagels

Ingredients:

140g Self Raising Flour

130g Greek Yoghurt

Pinch Salt

For the egg wash you will need 1 egg.

Method:

  1. Add Self Raising flour, salt and greek yoghurt to a large bowl and mix using a spoon and then your hands until well combined.

  2. Roll into a ball and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes

  3. Cut the ball in half so you have two even pieces. Roll each piece into a round bowl and using your thumb create a hole in the middle (ensure the hole is large enough that it allows the bagel to rise when in the oven, otherwise they will become bread rolls)

  4. Add bagels to a lined baking tray

  5. In a small bowl or cup crack an egg and whisk with a fork. Brush each bagel with the egg wash and sprinkle your choice of seeds, herbs and spices on top.

    • A spice combo I used in this particular image was sesame seeds, sea salt, dried oregano, garlic powder and onion powder.

  6. Bake the bagels in the oven at 180 degrees celcius for roughly 12-14 minutes depending on the thickness of your bagels - they will be golden on top

  7. Allow to cool slightly for ~5-10 minutes before slicing open
